ChainCatcher 消息，美國總統特朗普當地時間 6 月 8 日下午在新澤西州換乘"空軍一號"登機前對媒體表示，洛杉磯存在"暴力分子"，"還衝執法人員吐口水、投擲東西"，但他們"吐口水就得挨揍"，"他們休想逍遙法外"。當被問及是否計劃向洛杉磯派遣軍隊時，特朗普回應稱，"我們將在各地部署軍隊，絕不允許國家被撕裂，不會重蹈拜登任內的覆轍。"特朗普同時警告稱，阻撓非法移民驅逐行動的加州官員將面臨指控。
