Ian Wittkopp is a managing Partner at TON Ventures, having previously joined Sino Global Capital in mid-2017, where he has led the investment team on more than 50 transactions. Previously, Ian spent six years as an economist and budget analyst at the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, DC. Ian also spent time as a product manager for an insurtech start-up, Bowtie Life Insurance. At Bowtie he led the launch of a digital microinsurance product that aimed to increase coverage among foreign workers from the Philippines and Indonesia who moved to Hong Kong for employment. Ian received his bachelor’s degree from the American University in Washington, D.C. and his MBA from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
