Stuart Popejoy
Stuart Popejoy is the Founder and CEO of Kadena, with 15 years of experience in building trading systems and exchange backbones for the financial industry. He is also a seasoned musician and composer working in the NYC area. Before co-founding Kadena, Stuart led engineering in the JP Morgan Blockchain Center of Excellence, where he helped develop the open-source blockchain Juno. He is the author and lead developer of the open-source Pact programming language, for fast and safe smart contracts offering formal verification support. In the New York area, Stuart leads and collaborates in numerous acclaimed musical projects, including Sugarlife, Bassoon and Day So Far. He is an active member of the creative/new music scene, playing electric bass and keyboards. Stuart has premiered and released compositions developed using novel algorithmic techniques written in Haskell. He is also a professional recording and mastering engineer. Stuart holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. He has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, and Quartz, as well as other publications.

Will Martino
Will Martino is the Founder and CEO of Kadena, a former JPM and SEC alumnus, and a specialist in distributed systems and formal verification. He was the Lead Engineer for Juno, JP Morgan's blockchain prototype, and was the Tech Lead for the SEC's Cryptocurrency Steering Committee and the Quantitative Analytics Unit.
