Michael Lau is currently the Senior Vice President and Head of the Business Development Group at Bullish, overseeing the global business expansion of the Bullish Group ecosystem, which includes the regulated Bullish exchange, CoinDesk, and CoinDesk Indices. Michael joined the financial services sector in early 2020, focusing on institutional sales and marketing for a cryptocurrency exchange product (now known as Bullish). Prior to that, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of equity advisory at CLSA and held various key positions within the equities division at JPMorgan. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, and a certificate of completion from the Chief Marketing Officer Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

After several successful exits-including Gamecliff, an in-game marketplace, and okay.com, Hong Kong's largest digital property agency-Brendan became an early investor in blockchain when he co-founded Block.one. He now serves as the Chairman of Bullish.
